I am a 5'2" utility player and attend Woodland High school in Woodland, WA graduating class of 2019. I have a 3.9 accumulative GPA and my intended field of study is nursing. I am multi-sport athlete and have competed the last 4 years in club volleyball, select soccer as well as travel softball. I play multiple positions for my travel team Northwest Thunder including second base, third base, and catcher. I'm a freshman this year and the Tryouts for our high school team are in spring 2016. I will be competing not only for a spot on varsity, but working hard to win a starting role.
I am considering both large and small Universities. I want to find a school that has a great nursing program, and I would really like to use my athletic and academic abilities to help pay for some of that schooling. I am a positive, competitive player with a strong work ethic on and off the field. I am active in strength conditioning programs and just completed 6 weeks of APX training this summer. My favorite part of softball is being part of the team, the travel, sharing common goals and interest with the girls and coaches around me. I have made so many friendships and memories with the girls I have played with, that's what I enjoy the most. My goal is to continue to work hard towards playing at the highest level I can, at a school that is a good academic fit.
