I have been playing competitive sports since grade school. I will always have such a special place in my heart for the sports I've played especially softball. Going into my senior year, my high school fast pitch team (Woodland High School) has clenched two state titles. These have been some of the best high school memories for me and have taught me the importance of being a good teammate. As a three sport varsity athlete, I have also learned that the team with the most skill won't necessarily win, but the team with the most heart, trust in their teammates, and dedication will always conquer.
My goals after high school are to go to a school where I fit in both athletically and academically. I plan to major in Education, focusing on Physical Education and Nutrition. I have always talked about going to college to play my favorite sport, but in reality my education is just as important to me, so it's crucial that I find a college that fits my needs!
One word I feel that describes me is "competitor". I could be playing cards with friends, trying a new activity, or playing on the field, I will always play to beat you. This determination to win has instilled in me a strong work ethic, and the drive to better myself and motivate the people around me.
