Hi! My name is Laurren and I am playing softball for my school‘s varsity team. I have been playing softball since I was in sixth grade. My coaches have always pushed me to be a better player. Any advice or tips that they would give me I tried to use in every practice and game. When I get out of high school I plan to attend college to play softball and pursue a career in medicine. I am planning to become a surgeon. What made me want to be a surgeon was mostly from watching Grey’s Anatomy, but also wanting to be a part of a disaster relief team called Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW). They travel the world and country to places that have people in need so that they can help them through their hard times. I have been interested in joining Doctors Without Borders as well. The summer after my freshman year I was nominated to attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders. The Congress selects high achieving high school students to attend. I don’t take as many AP classes as other kids do, but I take all of the classes I do take very seriously. The Congress was an amazing experience and I was grateful to attend. Thank you for taking the time to read this and my profile!
