Ava Smarzinski '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I’m Ava Smarzinski, I will be a junior at Appleton East High School.  I have been playing softball since I was 5 and started tournament ball when I was 9.  Playing travel ball and playing softball has taught me so many mental corrections that help me in everyday life.  I recently committed into wanting to play softball in college, this pushed me to work harder than other players. I practiced six days a week and I enjoyed every part of it. I love meeting new teammates and learning from others skills and improve as a player overall.  What sets me apart from other players is that, I’m always willing to help my teammates improve their skills but I’m also willing to hear input on how I can be a better player. 

This past year I was in an online school environment. Being in a online school environment taught me to have self discipline and to focus on my studies.  While in online school I maintained a 3.3 GPA.
