Since I was a child, I have always dreamt big. I have known exactly what I wanted and what I needed to achieve to get there. I didn’t stop until my dreams and desires became a reality. I have always known what I want and what I need to do to achieve my dreams and desires.
As an eighth-grader, I set my sights on the All-Around Athlete Award. This award was given to only one boy and one girl in the 8th-grade class. To receive this award, I had to participate in every sport: softball, basketball, cheerleading, volleyball, and track, so I did just that and earned that award.
I have the same attitude about my future. I plan to attend the college of my dreams to pursue a degree in forensics psychology. In order to achieve this goal, I had to be successful in school, so I’ve worked really hard to earn a cumulative GPA of 3.85 while simultaneously balancing travel softball, high school softball, and private softball lessons, and coaching middle school sports, attending band performances and ACT prep classes all while working a job.
I have a number of strengths that combined with everything already mentioned sets me apart and makes me one unique individual. From my versatility on the field and at bat as well as my versatility socially whether I’m interacting with close friends or new teammates, I adapt quickly and easily. Everything I do in life I carry a positive outlook. It’s very rare I let something knock me down. I am a natural leader and I’m not afraid to step up and guide or help my teammates, friends, teachers, family, or even a stranger. I come with a lot of energy and drive, I am the loudest cheerer in the dugout, and never fall short when it comes to supporting my teammates and making my coaches proud of me.
I have always had so many dreams including playing softball in college since I was six years old. I would absolutely love playing softball at the D1 level, but in the end, all that really matters to me is that I continue playing this sport. I look forward to everything that lies ahead of me including the impact I can have on the world and the world has on me.
