Cora Nelson '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cora Nelson class of 2024 and I am a 5'5 140 pound outfielder for my high school team Mishicot, and my 18u travel ball team Lake Effect Flurry. I am a 2 sport athlete playing volleyball, and softball. I bat left and throw right. As a freshman, I played all over the outfield for both teams. For Mishicot, I started in the division 4 State Championship games my freshman year as a designated hitter, which we won. For Lake Effect Flurry I played on an 18u team as a 15-year-old and I started in right field. I am looking forward to continuing my academic and athletic career playing softball.  I continue to put in the time during the offseason to improve in all phases of my game both in the weightroom and the batting cages.  I welcome the opportunity to meet with coaches and to complete campus visits to narrow my search.  Please feel free to contact me or my coach if you are interested in learning more about me.  I am currently undecided in my college major.  I feel my skills and work ethic, along with my statistics and on field accomplishments will make me a great fit for any college.  I look forward to my upcoming softball seasons both in high school and travel ball and look forward to anything that the future holds.
