Josephine Meyer '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joey Meyer, I am a 2023 graduate at South Milwaukee High School in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am 5-foot-7 170lbs with a 3.750 cumulative GPA and an interest to major in physical therapy. 

I believe that my academics and strong work ethic make me an exceptional athlete. I always put school first and complete all of my assignments so that I can maintain good grades, as well as always improving my softball skills on and off the field. Outside of practices I work on hitting into a net and doing core and strength exercises to help build muscle. In the summers I see a fitness coach with a group of my teammates to add additional exercise. Balancing softball and my advanced classes has also improved my time management to make sure I always get my work done. I am a multi sport athlete, I play volleyball and basketball of course along with softball. I have had many coaches in the past helping me to become the coachable player I am today. I always work hard to improve my skills, and I’m open to any feedback or assistance coaches have to offer.
