My name is Megan Hochkammer, I am a Junior at Valders High School in Wisconsin.
Class of 2026
My personality is determined, fun loving/easy going, and focused. Every coach I have ever had the pleasure of playing for has described me as, “team player,” “very coachable,” “coach on the field,” “team leader,” “team player,” and “dedicated.” At the end of school softball season 2024 I received EASTERN WISCONSIN PLAYER OF THE YEAR. I am honored to unanimously be granted first team All-Conference Pitcher. Softball is definitely part of my college plan. I have been playing team softball, starting in local county leagues since I was three years old and continue to play extra summer league softball in our town/community. I currently play competitive softball with the WI Bandits and practice and train all year round. I love being on the mound and being a strong positive verbal teammate. I know the importance of implementing positive communication and focus on the field and in the dugout. Finishing my sophomore softball season, I hold my schools record for strikeouts in a season and broke the school record for Career strikeouts. I believe it is important to have fun, and team camaraderie is always a goal of mine. I implement positive vibes, on the field and in the weight room, to enhance everyone's experience and work hard. I realize hard work and pride will lead to success. I come from a small urban/rural area and from little on I help out on our family dairy farm, which we live on. I enjoy school, as I am a high honor roll student. I strive to play softball in college and advance my knowledge while pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I will take great pride in being a part of your team. I am a diverse athlete and can adapt to multiple positions quickly. I enjoy supporting my teammates on and off the field. I am always honored to be a part of applying the necessary skills to benefit team success.
