Hailey Hack '22 Recruiting Profile

Softball has always been an important and fulfilling aspect of my life. Ever since I was little, I was always wanting to play softball and looking back - I don't know what I would have done without it.  I am a quiet and modest person but when I'm on the field, my hard work and competitiveness comes out. I always put my heart and soul into every aspect of the game and I always aim for goals to make me a better player and person. I made Varsity as a freshman and was the starting second baseman. I also received an honorable mention all conference award on my high school team during my freshman year. Due to Covid, my sophomore high school season was non-existent and many midwest tournaments were canceled, but I didn't let that stop me from practicing and getting better outside of school and my club programs. 

Softball has taught me lots of different skills that can be used on and off the field, such as hard work and dedication along with teamwork which can all be used in the classroom.  I have a 3.9 GPA that I've worked hard to earn. I've taken a couple of AP courses including AP- Calculus and am hoping to continue advancing in math to be able to go into the engineering or architecture field.
