Abby Jennerman '22 Recruiting Profile

Grit and drive are two words that best describe me as a student and an athlete. I am a goal setter in all aspects of my life and I am driven to exceed my goals. Because of my determination I am willing to go the extra mile both in the classroom and on the field to be successful. I am different than other recruits because I hold myself to high expectations which helps me thrive in a competitive setting. My passion and grit for achieving my goals is something that sets me apart from other athletes.  When I was 12, I earned a state championship in gymnastics; when I was a freshman I made varsity for both volleyball and softball.  Recently I was nominated and elected president of my high school's National Honor Society program. These are a few examples of hard work and putting in 110% effort to make sure my goals were achieved. Additional goals I am currently working toward and plan to achieve in the near future is to graduate from college with a molecular and cellular biology degree, along with being an integral  part of a  successful division I or II softball team that shares the same passion and love for the game as I do.
