Taylor Rogers '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Taylor Rogers. I fell in love with the game in 4th grade and have wanted to play at the college level ever since. Being a straight A student, I value academics just as much as basketball and hope to find a school that will challenge me in the classroom and on the court. As of right now, I do not have a specific major in mind, but I am interested in engineering and business. I am a team player and always want to do what’s best for the team, not just what’s best for me. I am a very selfless person and I love helping and working with others. I always try my best to uplift my teammates to help them see the positives rather than the negatives. I take basketball very seriously, but you’ll never catch me being too serious to have fun while playing. What’s the point of playing if you don’t enjoy playing, right?

A little more about my athletic career:

Track is my second love. My events include high jump, pole vault, 300m hurdles, 4x400m relay, and the 200m dash. I lettered on varsity my freshman and sophomore year of high school and was one of the top 5 female point-getters both years. We were Conference and Regional champs in the 2021 and 2022 seasons, and my 4x400 team and I ended our 2022 season by getting 5th in state!
