Trista Stehwien '23 Recruiting Profile

Softball has developed my personality and drive for life over the last eight years. It was softball that made me realize how competitive I am and that if you work hard enough, anything is possible. I've played up in division by at least one level consistently and love the pressure this has placed on me. Rather than being complacent and being satisfied with the fact that I am younger, it has motivated me to work hard and learn from my coaches and teammates. 

My hard work and determination carries over into my school life. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA all throughout junior high and high school and have had a weighted GPA of 4.22 in my sophomore and junior years.  Both freshman and sophomore years I did the full International Baccalaureate program, and this year I am taking one IB class and three AP classes. To say the least, I push myself to the next level in each aspect of my life.  My goals for the future include playing college softball and going to medical school to pursue my dream career of becoming a pharmacist.
