Lesley Chalmers '21 Recruiting Profile

^{A 17-year-old from Alberta, Canada I am a determined athlete and student.  Coach describes me as a leader on and off the floor with an eye for reading the floor and taking advantage of situations both offensively and defensively.  As a multi-sport athlete, for cross-training fun, I also play volleyball and have been selected for further consideration to play for our province.  A little about me - my family roots are in ranching.  I've been on a horse since I was two years old, competing in rodeos since an early age and more recently helping out with farm/ranch work involving cattle and community.  I believe my toughness, fearlessness and hard work have shaped who I am today is is evident o the court and in the classroom.  During COVID, I was lucky to continue my development pathway with private training three times a week plus practicing with my club team.  I am committed to academic excellence and sporting development; working hard in my senior year at school as well as positioning myself to attend post secondary school as an elite athlete.}
