Hi I'm Maya, I've been playing basketball ever since I was a young girl. As I grew up playing, I fell in love with the sport and decided I want basketball to be in my future. My father coached boys basketball at Apache Junction High School for 20 years and played college ball at Illinois State. He taught me basketball at a great extent that when I played in leagues I always stood out and already knew everything that was being taught. I would be a significant candidate for your team because not only do I have superior quality's for the sport, but academic wise, my GPA is a 3.8 which puts me in good reach for your team. As I have had coaches and players before tell me I am more superior offensive wise, because of my ball handling and shooting, I've had just as many people tell me the same about my defense. I am a point guard as a freshman playing full games on a varsity team and am the only one from my team to earn the award, first team all region. I am only 5'2 but in my opinion, smaller is the faster. Basketball is my heart and soul and I will do anything to have it be in my future.
