In third grade my family moved from Montana to Southern California. The transition was difficult and basketball was where I found my place in school and with new friends.
From the beginning of my basketball career, I've been fortunate enough to be on winning teams, winning championships in sixth, seventh, eighth grades, and second in CIF my freshman year. As much as I value the success I've experienced on the court, I also learned the value of the relationships with my teammates, coaches and the basketball community. I've been part of programs with winning seasons and have experienced losses too, which has taught me that to contribute to a successful season it takes dedication and hard work beyond the team practices. Every season, I've worked on my own doing skills programs, weight training, and private lessons to become the best I can be for myself, my coaches and my team.
I look forward to contributing to a program with my athleticism, leadership, dedication and winning attitude. Furthermore, I want to be challenged academically as I've set a goal to maintain my 4.0 GPA in high school and carry that throughout college.
