The highlight of my high school basketball career was being a part of the Division 6 Section Championship team as a freshman. I learned how to stand out as a leader even as the youngest on the team, as I was put in a position to contribute. Through this experience, I developed a greater understanding and appreciation of the game. I truly learned how to be a leader and a team player as a three-sport athlete. I took on a leadership role in each sport as a setter in volleyball, a pitcher in softball, and a point guard in basketball. Being involved in several sports while also obtaining over a 4.0 and being a part of several leadership teams taught me how to prioritize and be responsible. After high school, I played at Southwestern Oregon Community College where I battled through adversity during COVID to play my freshman year. I suffered an injury, but have prioritized recovery and hope to find a new program that will fit me academically and athletically.
