Grace McCauley '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches! My name is Grace McCauley and I would be a great asset to a team because I am willing to do whatever they need in order to win. I am able to maintain good grades while having a busy season. My very first real experience playing basketball was at my city league in 6th grade, I instantly fell in love with the game and had a strong desire to become the best I could be.  I realized I developed a lot of skills in a short amount of time and that I was meant to play basketball. Playing this sport has helped me grow as an individual by developing a strong work ethic and patience. I try and push my teammates on and off the court to be better. My freshman year I made great progress earing the offense player of the year award through our undefeated season and was invited to move up to varsity to experience what it's like in the playoffs and contribute to the team.  After our first round playoff loss my freshman year, I wanted to work harder than ever to help lead the team to a victory next year and years after that.
