My parent took me to a UC Berkeley - Stanford women college Basketball when I was five years old. Watching them play, I was inspired and knew that I wanted to play basketball. That summer my mom enrolled me into Legarza, a basketball camp, and I have been playing ever since both at school and in the AAU club.
I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I have strong ball handling skills, a high basketball IQ and I enjoy playing defense. I am the captain of my high school team and I try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I am currently a member of the spirit committee in our student Council.
I want to attend a college where I can strive, push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court, form strong bonds and friendship with my team mates and become a role model to my peers.
