Growing up in the Virgin Islands my school didn't have a basketball team. So, my journey with the sport started off just playing pickup on the blacktop. Moving to California, new opportunities made me realize it was a sport I wanted to dedicate my life to. In high school I’ve fallen in love with the process of improving, whether it's lifting at the gym, getting extra shots up, or still playing pickup on the blacktop, I’ll do anything to get better. On the court, I fill whatever role my team needs. Each game I decide on one thing I can most contribute, and I make it my mission. Whether it’s shutting down a big post player, crashing the boards, or even just keeping the energy up, I always try to be what I think my team needs most and I hope to carry that mentality to the next level as well.
