I am a tri-athlete, playing Volleyball, Basketball, and Track. My main focus is Basketball, however, I put in hard work in whichever sport I am in. My love for basketball came when I was very young. My dad was a high school boys basketball coach, so he had me holding a basketball for as long as I can remember. I played in a lot of little leagues up until my 5th-grade year. I began Junior High Sports in 5th grade. I played Junior High Sports for 4 years, then I started my High School Sports Career. I began getting serious about playing basketball in college when I was in 7th grade. I knew that I loved the sport and that only playing in high school wouldn't be enough for me.
My freshman year I averaged 17.3 points per game, 10.6 rebounds per game, and 3.6 blocks per game. My highest scoring game was against the Wiley Panthers, I scored 40 points. During this game I scored 24 for 26 free throws, making me the female athlete to score the most free throws in a game for all classifications in the state of Colorado. In my freshman year, I received All-conference 2nd team and All-State Honorable Mention.
Going into my sophomore year I moved from Walsh Colorado to Julesburg Colorado, from being a Walsh Eagles to a Sedgwick County Cougar. We didn't get to start basketball until January 20, 2021, due to the Corona Virus pandemic. We got 16 games in our season. I averaged 15.3 points per game, 5.9 rebounds per game, and 3.6 steals per game. My highest scoring game was against Wray Eagles, scoring 33 points. I received All-conference and All-State Honorable Mention.
As I continue to play Basketball, I have high hopes of continuing to play past high school. I am hard-working and will adapt to whatever team, and position I am put into.
