My basketball journey started when I was in second grade, I didn’t know much about the game but I did know that I never wanted to stop playing from then on. By middle school I started to compete in AAU which definitely helped my game and made me want to work harder and become better. I started watching a lot of videos and working out in my driveway. By High school, I have become very strong at ball handling. I can shoot from anywhere on the court, I have good physical defense and I have a great eye on the court and can see good passes. On and off season I dedicate a lot of time working on my endurance and skills with a trainer. I’ve had multiple coaches compliment me after games. Hearing that makes me love the game even more and want to drive even harder. Due to the pandemic, this past season wasn’t the best. My team had to quarantine twice, but i never stopped working despite that and when it was time to play I was ready. Basketball has become a very important part of my life along with my academics. I am going to continue to keep working hard to see what great places they can take me in the future. I hope to find a college that can push my limits and play to my maximum ability. I am open to all levels of basketball and I am a very coachable player. I am also ready to work hard in the classroom and be a role model for my peers and my community.
