Rachel Gripp '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Rachel Gripp, an upcoming senior for this 2021-2022 school year. I am a 3yr Varsity player and Captain of the Stratford High Red Devils  in Stratford, CT.  From the moment I started playing volleyball I have loved the game. It excites me to think about continuing to play at the collegiate level. In addition to focusing my time and dedication to volleyball, off the court I am a well rounded person who wants to achieve more, especially when it comes to my education. I am looking for the right college to help advance my academics, and also allow me to play volleyball. 

On the court, I am a 5'11" MH/MB who has led my team in blocking and have a significant amount of kills. I am a very coachable player and can easily adapt to any situation to ensure the success of myself and my team. I love to lead by example and set obtainable, yet challenging goals for myself and my team. Sometimes, these goals can feel a bit out of reach, but my true character shows through when I remain positive and push my teammates towards success. I am excited to have received the SWC all team Colonial division for Volleyball this year.
