Who am I? I’m not 100% sure who I am yet. I’m still learning and growing into myself everyday. What I do know is that I am a strong, determined young woman. I can credit that to my mom. She is the strongest, most independent, self determined woman I’ve ever seen. As a business owner, mother and wife, I watch her give her all everyday even if it costs her sleep at night. She gives her all in everything she does and it truly inspires me to give my all in the things that I’m passionate about. I am very gifted in sports. I get that from the amazing men in my life. I am blessed to have 3 father figures in my life, my dad, stepfather, and godfather.I also have an amazing big brother too. All of them take so much interest in me bettering my game. They work with me on the weekends to improve my skills. Each and everyone of them are invested in me doing well in everything I set out to do. My brother is also a business owner and he, along with my mother, inspired me to start my own business. I am now the owner and creator of my own clothing line specializing in T-shirts and hoodies. He talks to me daily about my future and shows me different things that can create opportunities for me to make money and save so that I can learn to be more independent and self sufficient. Aside from sports and business my family also encourage me to give back to those who are in need. As a family we attend church together and we are all leaders at the church so we are involved in the planning of community events. We have food drives to give food and supplies to people who need them especially during the hard times that we are all facing during the Covid-19 pandemic. These events show me how important it is to be grateful and to be a service to those who need it because sometimes things are out of our control and could alter our lives. My amazing family has instilled many great values in me and are committed to helping me be a better person. They congratulate me on my accomplishments but they also hold me accountable for my shortcomings and are dedicated to teaching me from my mistakes. They help me see where I went wrong and how I can fix things. I am grateful for all of the lessons they taught me and will teach me in the future.
