Basketball HighlightPersonal Statement
As I further my academic and athletic career on the collegiate level, I would love to better myself not only as a player but as an individual. I have been playing basketball since I was in the 6th grade, but its always areas to improve. I know hard work and dedication are key, and I’m willingly to go above and beyond to be the best assets I can possibly be. I currently volunteer at toy drives, soup kitchens, 5K runs, and clean up parks. I also take the highest classes my high school can offer because I love going the extra mile.
Playing Basketball for so many years helped me escape so many negative surroundings. Growing up in Wilmington Delaware is rough, and basketball was always my escape from all the bad energy. I have a true passion for the game, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to take my career to the next level.

- AwardsI was accepted into the national honor society, and I also received honor roll every marking period since I’ve been in high school. I also received Academic All-Conference my sophomore and junior year of high school!
- ActivitiesI am part of the math league, student government, chess club and student newspaper. I also have a part-time job that requires most of my time, but I still manage to volunteer and do community service whenever I can.
