These last two years during my high school career have been tremendously impactful. I tore my ACL twice on the same knee, within the span of two years; the summer of freshman year and in the middle of my sophomore season. The rehab part, during both times were humbling yet, great because I achieved all the goals in less than 6 months and returned stronger than ever. Not to mention, my transition into a new academic program that allows me to graduate high school with an associates degree. All in all, I learned patience and persistence throughout my journey to prevail; thus, mentally and physically shaping me to be both a better player and leader on the court.
