My name is Alexis Rozier. I started playing basketball because of my dad and my family. All of my aunts have gotten schlorships from , kentucky, texas, and many more , and i plan to be the next one in line. I realized that i have a big body and i had to learn how to use it. As years went on i played basketball through middle school, and now playing in my high school career. Last year in 9th grade i was over 220 pounds and a little slow but very strong. My ninth grade year i scored 19 points and had 29 rebounds in a single game ending my basketball career that year. Now I am in 10th and my basketball icu is starting to go up, has i am becoming more compassionate about the game of basketball.During the summer after basketball season was over last year i decided to start eatting right, and jump rope constantly everyday. Eating right and jumping rope constantly has me down to 185 pounds right now , lost a total of 30 pounds so far. Working hard right now in my off-season working on my vertical and quickness. My dad always told me that the game basketball is about confidence and without confidence you cant play. My Goal is take basketball into a higher level. i love to watch the post players in college ball the way they use their bodies, and i study them and try to do them.I am very excited and dedicated to basketball. Dream for a schlarship, and to graduate as a honor grad. I am a second year honors right now and my GPA is 3.8. And i understand that if your grades are no good, you can not play sports. i have learned to balance basketball with adademics. During college i wont to get my masters in Physical theropy . I am very determined to take basketball to the next level, and will do whatever it takes to get there.
