Sefulu Faavae '13 Recruiting Profile

Aloha! My name is Sefulu Faavae and I'm 16 years of age. I attend Waiakea High school and currently a Junior.
Right now I'm trying to prepare myself for college and for the future. That is why I plan to play college basketball for any college, at any division level. It doesn't matter if it's D-1, D-2, D-3, or Junior college. I'm opening myself up to any offer I'm given. As long as I continue my education and playing the one sport I love, basketball.
When I was 8 years old, my number one goal was to play high school basketball, playing at the varsity level. When I was a freshmen, I made it on the varsity team and a starter. My sophmore year, I was still on the varsity team and I was nominated as team captain. What I'm trying to say is that I can put in the hard work and dedication for what I want in life and basketball. I'm thinking as if I'm 8 years old again, working my way to play in the college level. I'm a very hard-working, determined, competitive basketball player. But I'm also a sweet, easy to talk to, loving, humorous person.
Respect is an element that is very important in life. Without respect; in my opinion, this world be crazy. Without respect, I think most players wouldn't be able to make it far in basketball. Respect is a part of one's reputation. As a player, I respect my coaches, team mates, family, and friends. I give respect in order to gain respect, especially to my coaches and family. They're the only ones that have helped me throughout my basketball career.
In college I plan to pursue in being an Athletic Trainer. Like I said, I'm opening myself to any college as long as I further my education. But I would like to attend any college at any level in the west coast, just to be closer to home.
