Playing varsity basketball for three years out of my four years in high school has been amazing. I'm not the star player, or the top scorer every game, but I do contribute to the team as much as any player would. I'm a team player and my first instinct is to score, but also find ways to make my teammates look good and get open. I'm pretty competitive and I like to play defense to create turnovers for layups. I've been told by many that I'm a humble person and that I work hard to get to where I want to be. Academically, I do pretty well, and I strive to reach the best of my potential. School for me comes first then sports, and I am looking into becoming a Veterinarian, Vet Tech, or a Physical Therapist as a career. If I have the opportunity to play basketball beyond high school at any division and being able to see the level of competition out there, it would be a great experience for me.
