Ciera O'Brien '15 Recruiting Profile

I have been attending Moanalua High School for my freshman to junior year and I have been the starting point guard on the varsity team for those 3 years. For my senior year though, I transferred to Nanakuli High School where i will finish off my high school basketball career. I have been playing basketball since I was 6 and I've been in love with it ever since. Ever since I was little, it was my dream to play college basketball and I am hoping to make that dream come true. I've been working hard everyday to make myself a better player. Since I was 10 years old,  I been going to Kalakaua clinic every Sunday for an hour and 45 minutes. That helped me a lot with my ball handling skills, shooting and decision making. I have also been playing in many outside league teams and clubs. I've been traveling every summer since i was in 8th grade to Vegas to play in tournaments. I have a very good basketball IQ and great court vision. I am a strong dribbler with both hands and i could finish with either hand. I may be very small, but i have been working on my speed and strength a lot to make up for my height. I am very coachable with zero attitude. I believe that there is always room for improvement. 

In the classroom, i study very hard to maintain a 3.0 GPA.
