My name is Kaye Serapio and I immediately fell in love with basketball, the sport I've been playing for approximately 6 years now. My family, friends, and coaches have been a big influence on why I play the sport and the person I am today. They support me academically as well as athletically so my hard work and devotion are dedicated to all of them. Not only does their support motivate me to achieve my goals and aspirations, but it pushes me to become a better person and athlete every day. The people in my life play a huge part in who I am, but I cannot ignore the passion and heart inside of me that always sets me up for success. I've advanced to playing with older girls for most of the years I've been playing along with maintaining a GPA of 3.8 and above for my high school career. Coming from a small school of roughly 600 students on a small island may sound like a setback but, it does not hold me back from my dreams or make me settle for less. I am committed to this hard-working lifestyle to become the best person I can be on and off the court.
