Jaleesa Lawrence '21 Recruiting Profile

My Senior year I was awarded 5A PLAYER OF THE YEAR in the most competitive conference in Idaho (SIC).  I have worked and continue to work extremely hard to improve my court IQ, my shooting accuracy, and my offensive attack.  Although I consider myself a true shooting guard, my court awareness, height, and handles allow me to successfully score off the dribble as well as post up and finish inside.

I believe my court savvy and passing ability would prove an asset to the most Elite teams.   I possess uncanny anticipation on defense, leading my team in steals and blocks.  I am highly coachable, I instinctually make good decisions with poise and confidence,  a confidence grown from countless hours of training and dedication.

Throughout High School, I have  prioritized my class work to earn a 4.0 GPA including honor and accelerated courses.  I strive for excellence in the classroom as well as on the court.  I am very excited to begin this next stage in my life, I couldn't dream of anything more gratifying than the opportunity to attend college while playing basketball.
