My name is Kaorna Gall and as a multi-sport athlete I have learned a lot about myself through basketball, volleyball, and track and field. Each sport has taught me lessons and given me skills that have helped me succeed both athletically and academically. I have been playing basketball since 4th grade and learned very early on I am more than just part of a team. Basketball and volleyball is being apart of a family. We may not all like each other outside the sport but during practice and games we all come together to achieve the same goal, where as track and field where I compete individually and sometimes against my own teammates pushing each other to surpass our current personal best stats. My track and field event of choice is high jump, where my current personal best is 4'8'' at the 2023 IESA State Track and field meet. My goal with basketball is to continue to grow and become better than i was yesterday. I am a very competitive person and practice all year round to continue to increase my skills and abilities. I have always dreamed about playing basketball at the collegiate level because i want to prove to myself that I can make something of myself as well as my skills and abilities. I am more than willing to put I extra work and effort to make this dream come true.
Academically i currently hold a 3.7 GPA which I am working towards making that a 4.0. In the future i want to become a lawyer. My focus in law is to become a sports law attorney to represent athletes and or teams as a whole. I have a very high passion and love for sports in general and want to pursue a career in a field I am very passionate about.
