Becoming a collegiate athlete was never something I saw myself doing. I was always talked down and felt that I was never good enough. I was also told that I wouldn't be able to have a life outside of basketball if I played past high school. My goal for after high school was to go to a four year college and study an interest of mine and be able to get a job. When I started playing basketball in high school, I saw that maybe basketball could be a path. I also realized I would be able to both study an interest of mine and play basketball, as it has been a passion ever since I was a young girl. Coaches can rely on me to put in 100% on and off the court no matter the situation. My whole life doesn't revolve around basketball causing me to have a different view of the game of basketball itself. I like to consider myself a different type of player on the court. I am very encouraging to my teammates, I am always looking up to make the pass, and I am very coachable. Playing basketball in college will prove to those that doubted me, that I am capable of doing anything if I put in my 120% .
