Hello! My name is Melanie Gist and I would like to play basketball while continuing my academic studies at the next level.
I have been playing basketball since first grade and have always loved the game. I am very good at seeing the court, planning ahead, and I am determined to always play my best. I am a hardworking, dedicated athlete and I am always willing to learn more about the game! I lead by lifting up my team mates, listening to what the coach is wanting and making the smart calls. I am a very coachable player and will always put the time and effort into everything I do.
I am interested in becoming a Veterinarian Technician or pursing a degree in the agriculture field. I have a 3.9 gpa and always keep up with my studies. As a student, I know the requirements to stay ahead of my homework, study for tests, etc. I work hard at school and work even harder on the court.
