Lydia Lueck '21 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches - I am currently a junior at Stevenson High School, with a student population of 4,300.  I played my freshman year on the Freshman team, where I set the record for 3 pointers made (50) and shot greater than 50% from 3 point range as the starting point guard and captain.  I was pulled up to varsity at the end of the season for the playoffs.  I started 11 games as a sophomore on varsity and hit twenty-six 3 pointers, while leading the team shooting 70% from the free-throw line.  

I play AAU basketball for Limitless International for both the 16U and 17U teams.   I have been able to reproduce my shooting statistics in the high-level tournaments, including shooting 19 for 37 from 3 point range at the USJN Mid America Challenge in Indianapolis while playing for both Limitless teams.

I work hard and I love basketball.  By hard I mean that I work every day on my game and you won't find anybody who will give an effort as high as mine.  I have a weightlifting regimen which has helped me to be stronger physically on the court.  I have a strong handle on the ball as a point guard and shoot a high percentage from the floor, both off the pass and off the dribble.  I work on my game every day.

I am a good student, but it doesn't always come easy to me.  I go in for extra help every single morning, because I will do what it takes to succeed.  I achieved a 4.2 GPA this past semester with a 3.7 cumulative GPA, making the honor roll the past four semesters.
