Basketball has always been a passion of mine from an early age. I have played since 5th grade. On school teams and AAU (travel teams), I have been very dedicated to the sport. Through my time playing, I have shown encouragement and motivation for my teammates as I always put in my best effort. When I am not playing basketball, I am more than likely studying or doing homework as it is important to me. I also dedicate myself to others as I volunteer for many different kinds of people and organizations. I would be a good candidate for the team because I am not a selfish player, will never give up, and will ultimately do what is best for the team. As I continue through high school, I have been thinking a lot about my future. I want to become a physical therapist after seeing the great impact they can make on others. Playing basketball in college has always been something I wanted to do. I think about it often and in practice, I strive to be good enough to play.
