My name is Olivia Webb. I am in the graduating class of 2022. I attend Cardinal Ritter High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. I am a 5'4" point guard with exceptional ball handling abilities. Basketball has been a passion of mine for my entire life. I started playing in 3rd grade for my elementary school team. I continued through junior high on to the high school level, as well as AAU. Currently I am very strong in my ball handling ability, three point shooting, and the ability to read the floor and execute plays. My speed and agility also help on defense. I take pride in my work-ethic, my coach-ability, and my desire to help my teammates get better. I am also a two year starter in volleyball. Not only am I dedicated to become a better athlete, but also a better student. This semester I received an overall GPA of 4.04, while taking the standard curriculum and mixing in a few honors classes. I finished the school year achieving honor roll in four consecutive quarters.
Due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, my AAU season is getting a later start than normal. However, we are looking forward to beginning our season in the middle of June. I recently tried out for a new, older AAU team, as a means of challenging myself to become a better player. I look forward to the challenges that I will face with this new team and the growth it will create for me as a teammate and an athlete. My goal for this new season and team is to further enhance my skill set in order to make me a more valuable asset to my high school team in the upcoming junior year. The ultimate goal is to become the kind of player that would catch the attention of a college coach/scout thus allowing me the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
