I am a 5’ 11” two-sport, basketball and track and field, student athlete from Plainfield, IN (west side of Indianapolis) and currently a junior enrolled and playing at Class 4A Plainfield High School. While currently starting in the #3 position (wing/guard) I am versatile enough to play all five positions depending on the clientele on the court and opposition scouting report. I am a leader on and off the floor, currently serving as a captain on the team, and am passionate about the game. During Track and Field season, the 60m, 100m, 200m, and 4x100 relay are my events. I am currently enrolled in the Academic Honors Core 40 Program and am on track to graduate in 2020. My current GPA is 3.8. While I have not taken my ACT/SAT at this time; I am scheduled to do so in April 2019.
My desire would be to choose an institution where I can continue to play basketball and/or run track while pursuing a degree in Health Sciences. I would like to make an immediate impact both on the court and/or on the field but am open to learning from my upper class teammates. Both sports are important to me; and I would like to join an academic institution that would be interested in my combined talents; however, am open to just one or the other depending on team need. Being a two sport athlete, I think that my talents lie in a NAIA or DII level, but would always consider high academic DIII opportunities. I am eager to be a part of a collegiate team that puts others first, is committed to play with Christian values, and considers “team” as family.
Rest assured that your time spent reviewing my profile will be worthwhile and I look forward to hearing from you.
