One could definitely say I come from a basketball family. My dad and older sister both played basketball at the college level. My sister, Lex Mayes and I are 8 years apart. I got to grow up watching her be successful at the high school and college levels. When Lex received her basketball scholarship to Murray State University, I seen her hard work and dedication to the game pay off. I strive to have the same work ethic to continue to better my game off and on the court. I believe that is what will set me apart from other recruits. Being able to have seen the 5AM workout sessions, the busy travel schedule and having to make sure grades are taken care of is something that drives me to be a better player. I look forward to my hard work and dedication in the classroom and on the court paying off for me one day.
