Basketball is a part of who I am. It’s taught me so much, it’s how I’ve made so many friends, it’s how I’ve experienced so many things. As most typical children do, I tried several sports but I loved basketball the most, and have been playing since second grade.
Although I spend most of my time in a gym, I do realize the importance of academics. I have maintained a 4.0 gpa my entire school career, and I plan to keep that for the rest of my high school years. I want to go to college and enter the medical field.
I have faced several obstacles along the way but it’s made me the player and person that I am. It has made me work harder and look deeper into what it takes to be a leader and great player.
