My name is Demi Johnson. I am a 5’8’’ point guard in the class of 2027 recently graduated from middle school with a 4.0 GPA. I live in Prince Georges County MD, and I attend Mt. Zion Preparatory Academy. I play the point guard position for the Mt. Zion's varsity blue team. Let's go Warriors! Last year I played up a year in AAU as the starting point guard on an Under Armor team called Books Basketball Academy (BBA) 2026. I can score at all 3 levels, but I also enjoy creating shots for my teammates. I am known for my ability to push the ball up the court fast with tight shifty ball handling under heavy defensive pressure, making 3 point shots and playing strong defense. One of my biggest strengths is my ability to see the full court and be able to quickly make a play or pass the ball to open players. My love for basketball started at the age 2 watching my older brother Ed play basketball, playing older boys and girls in recreational leagues and AAU. My passion for the game extends far beyond the court. I train on my own or with trainers daily learn and follow Enrique Ogunbowale’s methodology of out working my competitors. When I am not training, I enjoy watching film of the top high school and college players so I can learn from them. My goal is to continue to grow my game and I look forward to continuing my journey at the collegiate level. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
