I became really interested in basketball after relocating to Maryland from Charlotte North Carolina due to my father’s job relocation in 2016. Just before my freshman year in high school while playing in a basketball showcase in Tampa Florida I tore my ACL. This experience has raised my interest of studying sports medicine and after my collegiate basketball career is completed I want to help athletes like myself who have experienced injuries return to doing what they love by assisting them through a successful rehab program.
What makes me different from many other athletes is my hard work ethic, I never give up regarding anything, my competitiveness with even the smallest things, and the way that I care for the world around me.
Athletically, I led my high school varsity basketball team to the state finals by leading the team in scoring while being selected as the Howard County Player of the year.
Academically, I have always put school first and have managed to be on the principals honor roll while helping lead my team to a state finals game. I’m not afraid to ask for help and I’m willing to go the extra mile to achieve an A in every class.
I’m in search of a college experience where I can make life long friends and build relationships with people through effective team work and community involvement where I can attempt to make the world a better place.
