I am the only girl out of three boys and I had to grow up tough and not cry like a girl. I always went to my brothers basketball games and watched, I followed in his foot steps by joining the girls basketball team at my school in 8th grade. I made the team and it became like riding a bike, I would practice everyday with my brothers to become better and better. As a girl who is 5'4 I am able to get rebounds from girls who are bigger than me, I'm able to throw my weight around and use it to my advantage. I love basketball as much as I love my brothers, they taught me how to shoot and get around people who are bigger than me. Basketball allows me to escape, and besides growing up and seeing my brother, uncles, and other family members play. People think just because I'm little I can't be a monster at ball, I show people when playing ball that I'm actually 6'6 instead of 5'4. I do play power forward and small forward but I can shoot, and I have good accuracy.
