Hi, my name is Kennedy Dylewicz and I am a junior. I am currently a starting point guard and captain of my high school varsity team. I haven't been playing for my entire life, but it quickly became something I was passionate about. Basketball is such an important part of my life, not simply because I love the sport, but because it gives me a place to be free from the mental stress of academics. Over the years I have worked very hard to get to the level I am at now with very little formal training. I practice whenever I can to get better at whatever needs work and to perfect my skills. I will often tell my coach that I want to go to practice early, and I usually end up staying long after it is over. I don't play for just myself. I play for my team, my coach, and my family who have all helped me get to where I am today. Outside of practice and school, I spend a lot of my time teaching and coaching other kids in basketball. I currently co-coach my little brother's team and am also the head coach of SEPAC basketball, which is an organization to help out special education kids. I would be a good addition to any team because of my persistence, determination, and overall work ethic in this sport. My hope is to keep being able to play at the collegiate level and not give up this amazing sport.
