Sports whether it be softball, soccer, volleyball, swimming, cross country, or track have always filled my time but basketball has always been my biggest passion. Moving every two years I have found that team sports and being able to easily jump on a team has helped tremendously in making new friends and easing the transition of my many moves including those overseas.
As far as basketball goes, I have always played small forward until I moved to Michigan my sophomore year. At that time I made my high school’s varsity team and played the position of power forward. Over the summer last year, I had a growth spurt and actually wound up starting varsity my junior year as a center. I believe my experience playing multiple positions has benefited my game and made me a more well rounded player. I will finish out my senior year participating in 4 sports for my high school; cross country, basketball, softball, and track. I also have played soccer, and volleyball at the JV level. Despite all the moves and the extra curricular activities, I am most proud of my academic accomplishments. I have always carried a 4.0 despite my many moves and am currently ranked as number one in my class. My goal is to graduate as valedictorian and continue my education while playing basketball in hopes to become a pediatrician.
