Intense. Driven. Determined. These are words that coaches have used to describe me as a player. I have a true love for the game of basketball and am a multi-sport athlete with state level awards in track and all-conference awards in volleyball as a sophomore. As a starter since my freshman year, I have helped lead my team to an improved record each season. Despite being a younger player on the team, my intensity on the court has helped lead my team to several key overtime wins over the last two years. During my sophomore season, I had three games with over 25 rebounds which put me in the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) records book. As a freshman and sophomore I was relied on to play a post position for my team. But , as I begin my junior year, I am working to expand my skill set play every position on the floor.
I am looking for a college that will compliment my future goals of working in the medical field and provide the positive college level basketball experience I am looking for. I feel that I would be a good addition to any team with my team centered attitude and leadership skills. I also encourage younger players by setting a good example both on and off the court with my involvement as an officer on Student Council and member of National Honor Society.
