Update: 6/27/19
Soccer season is finished, now training for cross country and basketball during the summer. I have practice for both alone every day and am working on speed and agility via bands called “twice the speed”. Still in National Honor Society and received all conference and all division for the 2019 soccer season as a goal keeper.
I absolutely love the game of basketball and have been playing since I was five years old. Every chance I get, I will go find a gym and shoot around. During my Junior Varsity years in high school, if it didn't interfere with my JV practices, I would practice with the varsity girls whenever I got the chance. I attended every open gym during the summer and played in the summer league as well.
I understand that playing at a collegiate level is very difficult, but I am a hard worker and will do everything I can to get something done. I look foward to the challenge and am ready to face it head on. Along with my determination, I am a very coachable athlete.
In school, I can maintain a high GPA and study hard. I volunteer to run the clocks at the middle school games every year. I am also an officer of the Drug Free Teen Club.
I hope to find a college where I can be pushed to my limits and be challenged the whole way through. I want to make my parents proud to call me their daughter and to be a good role model to my peers.
