I love to play basketball. I would like to play as long as possible. After college, it is my goal to go into coaching at some level. I am a strong student with a GPA over 4.0, and I am looking for a great academic fit as well as athletic fit. I am a multi-sport athlete playing both basketball and soccer. My high school plays in a strong conference of mainly larger schools. While soccer is my second sport, I was recognized as All Conference honorable mention both my freshman and sophomore seasons. For basketball, I was all conference honorable mention my freshman season and 1 of only 10 players recognized as All Conference first team my sophomore season, and 1 of only 2 underclassman in that group. That group of 10 includes 3 players already committed to division I college basketball programs and 4 others already committed to playing college at other levels, reflecting the strength of our conference. I was also recognized by my teachers and coaches as the Freshman Star Athlete of the Year which goes to someone who not only demonstrated athletic excellence but also character and leadership.
