Ava Nelson '26 Recruiting Profile

The reason I play soccer is because of my deep love of the game.  Everytime I put on my cleats and gloves, and step out on the field, I have immense peace and joy.  I love being part of a team and encouraging others.  What makes me unique is that I strive to be 1% better each day, I am able to focus even under the most immense pressure, and I strive each day to be a better player and person.  My collegiate goals are to play college soccer at a D1 or D2 level, to build strong friendships with my teammates and coaches, to win a national championship, and be ranked a top goalkeeper in my class.  What makes me different from other goalkeepers is that I am very coachable, hard-working, and passionate about pursing my growth as a player and person.
