Reece Cornine '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coach! 

I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. Although I play other sports, I have always known that basketball is my passion and what I want to do in college. I am working hard to find a place where I can continue playing after I finish high school. 

I am a point guard and a shooting guard. I handle the ball most of the time and distribute it to my teammates. I have strong ball handling skills and soft hands. I am also a shooter. I work on my shooting every chance I get and often play the 2 position. I catch the ball well, have a quick shot release, and I am not afraid to drive to the basket. I am also strong defensively. 

I am an optimist by nature and always support my teammates. I love being part of a team! I am very coachable and I strive to be one of the hardest working players you’ll find. 

In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am involved in student government, basketball, soccer, and honor society.

My goals involve attending a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am interested in a college where I can major in health sciences and complete nursing school or receive excellent preparation for medical school. I also want to contribute to a basketball program winning games and championships. I am extremely loyal and hope that whatever college I play for and graduate from, I will be able to be involved in the basketball program as an alumni.
